Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is a one-on-one therapeutic process where Michelle works with her clients to
explore personal challenges, emotions, and goals. It provides a confidential and supportive space to
address anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, stress management, self-esteem, life
transitions, and decision-making. It's a collaborative journey tailored to my client's unique needs and
experiences.

Couples/Relationship Counseling
Couples Counseling helps partners navigate the challenges in their relationship. Michelle works with
couples to improve communication and conflict resolution, explore emotional dynamics and
attachment styles, address specific issues like trust, intimacy, or life transitions, and strengthen their
relationship or decide to move forward separately. Whether couples are in crisis or just want to
deepen their connection, this process encourages honest dialogue and mutual understanding. It's not
always easy-but often deeply transformative.

Family Counseling
Family Counseling is aimed at improving communication and resolving conflicts within families. The goals include: strengthening emotional connections,
reducing tension in the household, navigating major life changes, and addressing behavioral or mental
health concerns affecting the family unit.
The counselor acts as a neutral guide, helping everyone feel heard and understood-like a
relationship GPS, rerouting everyone toward a better path forward.

Christian Counseling
Christian counseling integrates traditional psychological principles and neuroscience with biblical
teachings and spiritual guidance. It's designed to help individuals, couples, or families navigate
emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges while deepening their relationship with God. Michelle
works with clients from a faith-based perspective prayer, and
reliance on God while prioritizing mental and emotional wellbeing with consideration of the whole
person - mind, body, and spirit.

Group Counseling
Group counseling is a form of therapy where a small group of individuals-typically 5 to 10 people-
meet regularly under the guidance of a trained counselor to discuss and explore shared concerns. It
creates a supportive space where members can express themselves without judgment, gain insight
from others' experiences and perspectives, practice interpersonal skills in a safe environment. Whether it's focused on
grief, addiction, anxiety, or relationship challenges

Consultations
Consultation is a collaborative process where a mental health professional offers guidance and
expertise to another individual-often another counselor, provider, or educator-who is working with
a client or through a challenging situation. The focus isn't on treating the client directly but on
supporting the consultee's effectiveness. In order to provide a thorough treatment plan, Michelle
consults and collaborates with school counselors, pediatricians, primary care providers, and
psychiatrists.

Telehealth Counseling
Telehealth counseling is mental health care delivered remotely using technology like video calls via
Doxy.me. Instead of visiting a therapist or counselor in person, individuals can access support from
the comfort of their home, which is useful for people in rural areas, those with mobility or
transportation issues, or simply maintaining continuity of care during disruptions (like a pandemic or
travel).
